Amazingly I was awake for the ball dropping in Time's Square last night. We watched from the comfort of our friend's family room with their 3 large cats, 1 snoring beagle, and plenty of sleepy cheer. We then watched Robbie Kinevel jump his bike over a fake volcano in Vegas. Honestly, very anti-climatic. What wasn't anti-climatic was the Root beer and Orange Soda Floats we made for dessert. They were heavenly!
So, it's a new year. Raendi was listing off our accomplishments this year on our way home last night. And I completely agree with him. It is a good life, we are healthy, happy, relatively well adjusted, and are doing things that we are proud of. What a great world to bring a baby into. What a great family. It is a blessed life we lead.
