Raendi and I went to our second OB appt today. And Raendi got to hear the heartbeat for the first time. That little but strong "gah gun gah gung" is such a magical sound. It's reassurance from Baby: I'm still in here, I'm still growing! And we are both breathing a sigh of relief at being at the end of the first trimester on Saturday. No more tip toeing around this, Baby is coming!
We gave the OB a little chuckle when talking about our prenatal testing options. Raendi asked: is there any tests for the crazy Polish gene? How about we rub sauerkraut all over Rachel's belly and see what happens? Dr Delton smiled while she looked at us with a vague look that said, ummm, who are these people? She's not used to the Wagner sense of humor... yet. :)
So, there's the scoop. We will be completely outed as of Saturday (Facebook, here I come!!) and baby, mom and dad are doing well. :)
