I swore I wouldn't like this show. It's voyeuristic. It's exploitative. It's prime time drivel. And it's growing on me. Especially all the behind the scene's stuff. The kids are adorable, the parents normal. Their normalcy is amazing amidst the chaos of all the kids, cameras, and fame.
Today I let the board of the nonprofit I work for know that I'm preggers. Yes, I'm still in the first trimester (10 weeks last Saturday) but I'm feeling good, knocking on wood, and I'm healthy. I'll wait another few weeks to out myself on facebook and at church.
The only issue is: water. I'm so tired of drinking water. I tend to be a bit on the dehydrated side in my normal life. But, getting thirsty and then ignoring it while pregnant means cramps, nausea, super-chapped lips and general icky-ness. Not to mention that baby swims in new fluid every 3 hours and my blood supply is going up 50%. So, I force myself to drink water. I may break down tomorrow and buy those little packets I can add for some sort of flavor, just to see if it helps. Which leads to the other thing I'm a bit tired of... peeing. Sigh...
